What You Need to Measure for Compression Stockings at Home

You’ll need to measure your legs without any clothing on, and you should use flexible measuring tape like tailor’s tape while your feet are firmly flat on the ground.

Supplies: You'll need a flexible measuring tape, a piece of paper, and a pen to write down the measurements.

Time of Day: Measuring your legs in the morning when they are least swollen is best.

Positioning: Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor, but do not cross your legs.
